Comfort during the ride matters as much as the shape afterwards, particularly when the weather makes the commute longer. For a fair comparison, I would use one plain photograph and look at a small selection of different lengths. The preview cannot tell me whether a bun, clip or braid would interfere with the fit of my own helmet.
